Haitian children love to learn. Vacation Bible School is one way to teach God's Word through object lessons, play and song. Craft classes are a new concept for them. Craft items are hard to find in Haiti. They love activities during summer and holiday vacations. They love to sing.
They have balls, a rope used for jump rope, and games played with small pebbles. They do not have TV or video games. But they are happy. They enjoy learning new group games.
During the last VBS, we arrived at starting time, only to find the kids already waiting for class to begin! Consider serving on a VBS team.
