Churches

Living Word Ministries has planted 5 churches in 5 different villages on the southern coast of Haiti, and surrounding mountain regions. Our goal is to plant churches in villages where there is no evangelical church present.

Voodoo is stronger in villages where there is no evangelical church. Patrick has had the opportunity to witness to witch doctors who have confessed of never hearing of God's love. It is difficult to build the church in these areas because of the ignorance and no trained leaders. It is easy to share Jesus in these communities, but spiritual growth after the initial conversion is a slow process.

Most pastors do not have an understanding of a "call" for being a pastor. Bible school training is the tool to give them a better understanding. Pastors' conferences are another tool used for training leaders.
