for the Harvest Fields
Training
missionaries is at the heart of Living Word Ministries' success.
Trainees are given solid biblical teaching. They also receive
practical ministry training as they are sent out to evangelize,
disciple and plant new churches.
Construction
of a Missionary Training center is underway in Mayette.
Believers from neighboring villages come regularly for discipleship
training. More and more Haitians are being equipped and trained
in the Bible School for missionary work.
Funds ($15,000)
are still needed to complete a permanent church building and the
training center.
In July 2005, 10
students graduated after a two year program. Most of the
ten students are already taking leadership positions in various
churches.
Projected plans
are for the new year of Bible School to open in
October 2005 with 40 students.
There is a great
hunger for learning in the country of Haiti. It is
of utmost importance for the Word of God to be taught, to
satisfy
this desire for learning. Young people reach out to anything that
is
available to learn. |
