About
Living Word Ministries
Patrick and Barb
Lataillade have a vision to reach the lost in Haiti. Because there
are so many who don't know the true Gospel, God placed it on their
hearts to launch Living Word Ministries, a strategic church planting and
missionary training ministry focused on taking the gospel to areas of
Haiti where
no witness for Jesus Christ has been.
Missionary Challenges
Spiritually, Haiti is a battle
ground. In the early 1800's a witch doctor proposed a 200-year
contract with Satan in exchange for political freedom. The
country's most recent president performed a ceremony to rededicate the
country to Satan.

During Jesus' ministry, He often addressed a person's physical need as
well as their spiritual need. Due to the lack of available basic
medical care in remote villages, many Haitians suffer from treatable
illnesses. Short-term medical teams have impacted communities
and opened the doors for LWM gospel workers to reach even more people
for Christ.
Living Word Ministries
hosts medical teams in the villages
where hundreds of villagers wait in line for medical attention.
Those who come are prayed for and offered the opportunity to learn
about the Great Physician.
